About:Qingming Bridge

Hello,

I am an American citizen (Chinese born) currently traveling in India. I would like to get a Chinese visa here, but can't make it to the embassy in New Delhi because I am far away in another part of India, near Bangalore. Is it possible to obtain a Chinese visa anywhere else? Perhaps at a Consulate in Bangalore?

Also, I saw that you can now obtain a Chinese visa directly from the Hong Kong airport when I was there last week. Is Hong Kong a special case? Can I just get my visa from there?

Many thanks,
Susan

There is no China consulate in Bangalore, you can apply for a China visa from China consulate in Mumbai because Bangalore, Karnataka State is under its consular jurisdiction. You can't get China visa from Hong Kong airport(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/hongkong/airport.htm) directly.
