Hi, I plan on going to Guilin, Yangshuo, Lijiang and do the Yangtze river cruise in August. What is the weather like during August. Is it very hot and humid ? and is it rainy ? Is it a suitable time to visit the area or is it better to go there at a different time of the year.We would like to go trekking near Lijiang so the weather is important.Thanks

August of Lijiang is still in rainy season. It is may be rainy. However, the rain comes quick and dispear quick too. It will not last long. Suggest you check the weather forecast before leaving. :-)
