Hi, I plan on going to Guilin, Yangshuo, Lijiang and do the Yangtze river cruise in August.

What is the weather like during August. Is it very hot and humid ? and is it rainy ? Is it a suitable time to visit the area or is it better to go there at a different time of the year.

We would like to go trekking near Lijiang so the weather is important.
