About:Shanghai Transportation

Hi! Flying via Shanghai, we will have few hours to have a look at the city (on 19/12/10 arrive at Pudong at 09:45 and fly further at 20:05 also from Pudong Int; on 09/01/11 arrive at Pudong at 18:30 and stay for 1 night in Shanghai Duoladuo Business Hotel, leave on 10/01/11 at 11:45 from Pudong). What would be your logictics (get to/from the city taking into account arrival/departure times and time of the day) and sightseeing recommendations for such short stays?

Many thanks in advance.

When you arrive Pudong Airport on Dec 19, suggested that you take the Maglev to downtown Shanghai(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/shanghai.htm) quickly. Just at the Maglev station, you could transfer to subway Line 2 or a taxi to the People's Square, where a short Shanghai Tour(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/shanghai.htm) begins. Firstly, you could walk along the Nanjing East Road until to the Bund. Then, take a ferry or subway Line 2 to Lvjiazui where the Oriental Pearl Tower is located. Don't miss it. Finally, walk around at the foot of the Tower, do some shopping and dinning. Then, at 17:00~18:00, you should take the subway Line 2 or Maglev back to the airport.

The Shanghai Duoladuo Businnes Hotel is close to Pudong Airport, but far from downtown area. I don't think you will have enough time to visit the city area.
