i plan to visit badaling great wall.

Question

I plan to visit Badaling Great Wall. After that, I want to go to see the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. I want to know how to get there from Badaling. I prefer bus or subway rather than taxi, and don't mind transfer. Thanks a lot in advance.

If you'll take the train from Badaling to get back the downtown Beijing, then you can take subway from Xizhimen to the Olympic Sports Center station, then walk to the site; several transfers will be needed. But it is faster. FYI: Beijing Subway(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/beijing/transportation/subway.htm) .If you'll take bus to go back, you can take bus no. 919 branch line or slow line at Badaling to Qijiahuozi, then change to bus no. 939 to Asian Sports Village, then walk to the sites.
