About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Hi I am a Ghanian National. I planned to go to Honk Kong for a 1 week holiday in December. I applied and was granted a Chinese visa. It was only later a friend explained there was a difference. I did specify on my application that I was going to Honk Kong. Is this a mistake or does the hong kong visa get issued on arrival? What do I do if the embassy made a mistake?

you do not need a visa to go to hong kong, you can stay in hong kong for 90 days if you are a German, your chinese visa is used for china, not hong kong.
