Hi, I am from Singapore and I want to marry my girlfriend who is from Hubei but living in Guangzhou in a rented apartment. If I already have the Certificate on Eligibility to Marry and the Legalised Affidavit of Single Status from Singapore, should we register our marriage in Hubei or Guangzhou? We intend to buy a house in Guangzhou after marriage. And after marrying her in China, is it possible for me to work in China. Thanks.

But it is hard to get a work visa in Mainland China, I'm afraid that you have to return to Singapore to apply for China work visa.
