About:Beijing Facts

Are Twitter and Facebook accessible in China? What is the weather in Beijing from Dec 16 to 20?

Hi TCG, i heard that some internet sites are blocked in China. Is Twitter & Facebook currently accessible there? I will be in Beijing on the 16th 'til 20th of next month & i can't afford not to update my status of either sites.
On another note, how would be the weather during those dates? So i can plan which type of clothes i should bring. Thanks! ☺

Both of Twitter and Facebook could not be access in China at present. Beijing is already in cold winter, snow may also happen in next month. So, you'd better wear as warm as possible, sweater and downjacket is necessary.

Were you able to access Facebook and Twitter in China in the end? Can I ask what service you used? I found that Securitales worked very well for me, it was recommended here http://www.how-to-unblock.com I am going again in a few weeks and I am going to use them again since it worked well on my last trip.
