About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Hi,

I am an Indian citizen on a 457 work permit in Australia (Sydney). I am going for vacations to India. On my way back to Australia, would have a halt of a few hours(around 12 hours) in Hong Kong. I am planning on going out of the airport. Would I get visa on arrival, or do I have to apply for a visa in advance?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You don't need to apply for a Hong Kong visa in advance, India passport holders are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for up to 14 days. You can go out of the airport to visit Hong Kong.
