About:Chengdu Transportation

Hi,

I'm planning a trip to Chengdu with my family. Part of our itenary would be visiting Mt Emei and Leshan-the giant buddha. If we take bus from Chengdu to Leshan in the morning, would there be a transfer from Leshan to Mt Emei? I know that buses depart every 20mins or so to Leshan and Emei but would that also apply to the trip back? Or there's only one trip back to Chengdu per day? Cheers.

Jenn

You can find bus from Leshan to Emei at any passenger station, but better to Leshan general bus station where there are more buses daily. Well,I am afraid that one day may be short for you to travel in Leshan and Mt. Emei. You have to hurry up if you would like to climb Mt. Emei. The last bus from Mt. Emei backe to Chengdu usually departs at 18:00. I advise you to join a one-day-tour of Chengdu-Leshan-Emei. It may be much convenient and save a lot of time. I prefer Chengdu Tours(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/chengdu.htm) which provide us a lot of helpful travel information. You can refer to it.
