About:Macau Travel

Hi,

My family and I are going to visit Macau on March 2011.

Please be kind in providing details/information on my queries below:

1. Where is the cheapest yet comfortable hotel/hostel to stay in Taipa?
2. Normally, how much does a taxi/cab costs from the airport to a specific hotel in Taipa?
3. What is the most preferable ferry service going to HK and how much?
4. In relation with number 3, Is it preferable to buy the tickets online or at the terminal instead?
5. Can you suggest a decent restaurant to dine in?

There are many hotels in Taipa, you can check at Macau Hotels.
2. Macau Airport is on Taipa Island, it won't cost much to take taxi from Airport to specific hotel, like MOP30-40 will be the most amount.
3. You can prefer TurboJet, CotaiJet or New World First Ferry to Hong Kong, these ones are all good. Better go to Taipa Ferry Terminal to take ferry.
4. Better book ticket online, it is more convenient.
5. For restaurants, you can go to Rua Do Cunha, it is a famous shopping street on Taipa Island, there are many restaurants there.
