can i stay go into the main terminal area of beijing captial airport without a chinese

Question

I will be arriving into Beijing Airport Terminal 3 and will have over 5 hours wait for my transit flight departing from the same terminal.  Would I be able to go into the main terminal area without a Chinese visa, rather than staying inside the restricted transit area?  How do I do this, please?  For example, would I have to go through the immigration, and then go back in through the immigration again?  Thank you in advance for any advice.

Bring your valid passport, destination air ticket and other valid documentations with you, you can stay in the airport area without visa. But for the immigration part, sorry I have no idea about that, you can ask the airport staff for help when arriving, if you have done that at Capital Airport, don't forget come here and tell me the ways~~  Have a nice trip!
