what subway lines do I have to take from the Novotel Xian Qao in Beijing to the wholesale market around the Beijing Zoo? Do I have to haggle there? Are there any designer brands there?

Walk to Chongwenmen to take subway line 2 and transfer line at Xuanqumen. Get off at Exit-D of Beijing Zoo Station. You will find the wholesale market around the Zoo. You'd better haggle there. There are designer brands there, but not original, such as NIKE, ADIDAS, Levi's and Jack&Jones, etc.
