We are planning to travel by domestic air from Chengdu to Xian, and then later from Xian to Chongqing. Can we purchase our selected flights air tickets in advance through TCG before we arrive at Chengdu? And, since we have allocated only 5 nights for Xian and Chongqing, which is a better option-----3 nights at Xian with 2 for Chongqing, or vice versa?

Of course, you could book the air tickets through TCG in advance. There are several direct flights available between Chengdu, Xian and Chongqing. You could search the flights info on this webpage with your specific departure date and then choose your preferred flights by making an online booking. As for the allocation of your stay period in Xian and Chongqing, you are suggested to stay at Xian for 3 nights. Xian is a fascinating city with combination of the years’ history and culture and it has so much attractions.
