The train schedules for Chongqing-Chengdu show many departures for  D  EMU trains everyday. Are they subject to changes, and can we purchase tickets for our selected trains through TCG in advance before we depart from our home-country for Chengdu? (We hope to make our hotel bookings through TCG)

Usually, the train schedules are fixed, and there are few changes. You could buy the tickets for the D trains you selected on Chongqing-Chengdu route through TCG in advance. And you would better submit the online bookings at least 8 days prior to the train departure date.

Mr. KumkThank you for your reply. I will be in Shanghai on 23 Jan. 2011, flying by air to Wuhan on 26 Jan. 2011. Can I book now 2 first class tickets for the G1047 train leaving on 29 Jan. 2011 from Wuhan to Guangzhou? Is it a E-ticket, deliver to me or self-collect? RegardsXavier

Could you please let me know how much the fare the train ticket from Changzhou to Shanghai? Does i need to book the ticket in advance or i can book through website, if so please send the link.

Many trains are operating from Changzhou to Shanghai from 02:00 to 22:30 daily. Thus, you can purchase the tickets directly at the train station. And it takes only 1hr by EMU trains. The ticket fare varies from different types of seats. For instance, it is around CNY51 for one hard seat on D trains, while CNY80 on high speed trains.
