The temperature in late December is -10 C and lower (maybe low to -20 degrees). So, wear sweater too. About pants, thermal, woolen one and trousers. Need warm gloves and hat and warm shoes or boots.

I recommend you buy them in Harbin after arriving and deciding what's to buy. Also, there are more kinds of thermal clothes in Harbin.
