About:Chinese Consulate in Perth

Good day
If I get a 12 month visa, can I stay in China for 12 months without leaving China, or do I have to leave every so often, eg every 3 months?
Regards

you need to leave Mainland China when the stay duration per entry expires, for example, you get a 12 months mutiple entry visa with 30 days stay duration per entry, then you have to leave Mainland China every 30 days. You can go to Hong Kong or Macau if you don't want to return to Australia, then return to Mainland China from Hong Kong or Macau to get another 30 days stay duration.
