About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hello,

I am taking the train from Hong Kong to Shenzen on November 18th?
Can I obtain the visa on arrival at the Hong Kong/Shenzen border?

You can't obtain the visa on arrival at the Hong Kong/Shenzhen border. Please apply for a visa in Australia or Hong Kong. The visa on arrival in Shenzhen is stopped to issue owing to Asian Games.

I am an Australian passport holder and intend to travel to Shenzhen from Hong Kong on December 28-30. Can I apply for a visa at the border?

you need also to apply for a visa in advance since the visa-on-arrival has not been started again until Jan,2011.
