At Changsha West Bus Station, you could take a coach to arrive in Yichang directly, but it will take you a long time.
Or, you could take a train from Changsha to arrive at Wuchang Railway Station, Wuhan City firstly. The journey is just about 3.5 hours. Then, you could transfer to a bus to arrive in Yichang in 4 hours.0
