About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Hi there, I am living in Australia on spouse visa with Pakistani passport and my husband is an Australian citizen. we are going to Pakistan to see our family in February and have booked tickets which involves 3 day stop over at Hong Kong for visit purpose. whats the procedure for getting a visit visa for Hong Kong and what papers are required.Can I apply now as I want every thing organized.

You can apply for Hong Kong transit visa through China embassy/consulate in Australia.
The requirements are:
HK Visit/Transit Visa Application Form (ID1003A and ID1003B),
one recent passport-photo size color photograph
one photocopy of the passport page containing the personal particulars,
proof of your financial standing (e.g. bank statements, salary certificate issued by the company),
air tickets booking
