About:Beijing Facts

Hi, i'm Planning to vist Beijing alone in May 2011 and was hoping for advice on what the weather is like at that time of year? Where to go for affordable accomodation (preferably in a tourist area)? And is there any 'must see places' other than the obvious attractions? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, the usual temperature is about 12~28C in May. It is pleasant to visit Beijing at this time. Nanyuan Inn (Wangfujing), Beijing may be suitable for you which is located in the core bustling area of the capital-Beijing, Nanyuan Inn (Wangfujing), Beijing is close to Tian'anmen Square, Wangfujing Walking Street and Beijing Railway station.
Apart from those obivious attractions, such as the Great Wall, The Forbidden City and Tian'anmen Square, you can also go to see Beijing Hutongs and Beijing Museum to experience the local culture and life.
