My son is applying to Dalian Medical University.Can he fly directly to Dalian from South Africa and what transport does he need to use to get directly to the university irrespective of the time he might land.

There is no direct flight from South Africa to Dalian, better take flight to Beijing and then take train to Dalian, or he can take flight from Beijing Airport to Dalian, after arriving at Dalian, he can take taxi to Dalian Medical University since this university is out of downtown. Costs around CNY100.
