About:Shopping in Shenzhen

I wish to visit Huaqiangbei to purchase a DVD HD Recorder. I will be coming from Hong Kong by train and would like to know the best way to get to Huaqiangbei. Is the HK$ acceptable in Shenzhen if not can I change monet at the railway station.

Hi,after pass through Luohu border, you can walk about 200m to the west square of Shenzhen Railway station to take bus 228 and get off at Huangqiangzhong station. Then walk about 100m, you will come to Huaqiangbei commercial street. Or you can take a taxi directly from Luohu border to Huaqiangbei. The taxi fare is within CNY20. HKD can not be used in Shenzhen. You can change money at Luohu Railway Station.
