About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

Hullo We are travelling to Tibet from Nepal in April 2011 on an alien visa/ Tibet travel permit(which we will obtain via a travel agent in Nepal) and are planning to obtain a chinese visa in Nepal on arrival. From Lhasa we hope to take the train into China and then join a bus in Zian to travel through China Could you advise how many days the chinese visa is valid and where can we obtain an extension should we need to
Thanks

generally speaking, a single-entry L visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue and permits 30 days stay duration in China. You can apply for extension at a large city where the Exit & Enter Department is established.
