About:Jade Buddha Temple

I would just like to ask where Wanshou Road Station is?

Hi there... I would just like to ask where Wanshou Road Station is? Is it the same with Chang Shou Rd Station or is it Chang Shu? I am just confused about which one is the real station going to the Jade Buddha Temple. I am currently at Jing'an Temple. I dont know which station should I alight from if I'll be taking line 7 of the subway.

Hoping to hear an answer. Thank you so much. Good day to all! =)

That are three different roads and I think the one close to Jade Buhhda Temple should be Changshou Road Station of Subway Line 7. Just take the subway Line 7 from Jingan Temple.

Hi Mr. Henry... I did take the Changshou Road Station of line 7 but I wasnt able to find the temple. I went there this afternoon and it was my first unsuccessful trip here in Shanghai even if I have taken note of the directions given above. It was hard for me to ask questions since most of the locals do not speak English, thats why I ended up having coffee at a nice coffeeshop around the area.

Anyway, does anyone know how to get there by foot (not riding a taxi) if ill be coming from the Exit 5 of Changshou Road Station of subway line 7. Thank you and more power to everyone on this wonderful site! =)

Walk along Xinhui Road to the east. At the third crossing, you will come to Jiangning Road. Turn right to the first crossing, you should find the wall of the temple just in your right side. You may prepare a paper and print the Chinese name of this place, 玉佛寺. That maybe helpful for you to ask the local people. Another option is take bus 113 in Jingan Templs opposite the McDonald' and get off at Changhua Road Anyuan Road. Walk back to the crossroad and find a tall building called 长海大厦. Continue to walk from the building and pass the crossroad next to it. The temple can be found in your right side then. Hope you can find it successfully this time.
