From UAE to Manila, my transit/stop is Beijing Capital Airport, Terminal 2. I want to take advantage of going out of the airport and see Beijing for 1 day. Anyone could inform me about obtaining Chinese visa upon arrival? Is it possible?

There is no visa on arrival available at the airport. But you can apply for a one day stay permit at Beijing General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection. It has office window at the airport.

Please hold your valid passport and flight boarding pass to apply for the permit. Sorry, not very sure about the fee, but shouldn't be expensive.
