About:Forbidden City

Could someone please give more details on the use of Feng Shui principles in the Forbidden City? Other than the number 9 and the North axis and yellow tiles? Thank you very much.

A place located in front of a hill and with a river flow across the front part is regarded as a ideal pattern of a residence. So, there is Jinshui River and Jingshan Hill in front and back of the Fibidden City. Odd number is yang and even number is yin, so, there are three big halls in the front part of the forbiddent City and two hall in the back for the emperor and empress to live.
