About:Shanghai Travel

Hi! this is my first time here in Shanghai and I am actually having a hard time in deciding where to go. I have not booked myself into any tour packages, as I really would want to explore the city on my own. Can anyone share with me their experiences or any tips that I can make use of in order to make my stay here meaningful? Looking forward to enjoying Shanghai and what it has to offer. Thank you.

Hi, the most famous attractions in Shanghai are the Expo, the Bund, Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Yuyuan Garden. You can check the webpage of Shanghai Tours https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/shanghai.htm on this website, there are many tour itineraries for reference to make your own one. You should make a plan according to your interest and time of travel.

Ms. Jam,
Shanghai is a great city to explore on your own...you can see alot just walking the different neighborhoods and you can ride the subway to get around. When ever I'm in Shanghai on business I always make a point of using the weekends to explore on foot. The French Concession area is good for walking, as well as Nanjing Rd down to the Bund. For history you can visit Mao Zedong former residence...Ji'Jiang Temple is also very intersting. Of course if you are there during Expo that is a must see. Where your hotel is located might also influence your plans to explore the city. Enjoy! Let me know if you'd like more info.
