my scheduled trip to beijing is on the last week of November, is it true that badaling greatwall is closed for renovation? how about mutianyu? the travel agency is asking me to take the jurong wall instead. pls advise me. thanks...

No, I haven't heard about the news. So, Badaling should be open this Nov.
