About:Shanghai Travel

please, please answer my q..if i arrive at the shanghai airpoert at 10.30pm, n need to go city international youth hostel,n on a budget, please advise me how to get there? is it safe for a lady to do that at night? or is it advisaable to wait at airport till next morning? tq,tq..

Hi Roslan, Shanghai has 2 airports - one is in Hongqiao, Puxi. We call it Hongqiao Airport. The other one is in Pudong, Pudong International airport. No matter which one your airplane will use, they are both connected by line#2. I guess the youth hotel you mentioned is Shanghai Captain Youth Hostel(Fu Zhou Rd. The Bund). So you can take line#2 to get off at Nanjing Dong Rd station and walk to the place. Or you can take a cab to get there.

Shanghai is a safe city at night.
you better make reservation before coming. Pls check the hotel website
