Hi, we are planning to be in Shanghai from the 17th to the 20th March 2011 and are staying at the Salvo Hotel. I believe it is well placed. Can you tell me which Subway and how far it is to walk-briskly. Also could we walk to the Bund to meet the ferry ride on the river.I downloaded a bi-lingual subway station chinese english with Phonetic pronunciation in brackets. Is this prononciation fairly accurate and easily understood. Thanks you so much for taking the time to answer my questions'Kind Regards Andrew

Hi there!I think from memory the Salvo Hotel is just near the Westin Hotel / The Bund Centre - which would make it near the Yan'an Elevated Road. It is within walking distance to the Bund,I think about two blocks. The local subway is East Nanjing Road Railway station. Wlak in the opposite direction to get to Nanjing Road for some shopping.
