About:Tips for Travelling along Silk Road

When is the best time to travel to the Silk road starting with xian, urumuqi, kashgar etc.

without rain and no extreme heat during the day. I do not mind if it is cooling around and between 15-20max. during day and nite.

The best time to go to Urumqu and Kashgar is August, while Xian is in the hottest time. If you do not mind cooling down, I think September is good choice. It is about 10-24 degrees in Kashgar now, Xian is a bit warmer. So, you can decide the right time to go.
