Hi, I'm a pax of 2 coming to Guangzhou this December(2010). We'll be staying at sunway  golden diamond hotel zhongshan.1) Can i know what is the cheapest way to get to the hotel from the airport? 2) How do we get to shopping area like Zhuang Yuan Fang, Shang Xia Jui Lu or even beijing Lu from the hotel?3) Is there any other suggestion for places to look for cheap, trendy and fashionable items? (shopping)4) As for the other tourist attraction in Guangzhou such as the White cloud mountain, Shamian island, pearl river etc, are they located near Lilac International Suite? Is it possible to do a walking tour?5) Do cabs in GZ go by the meter? 6) where can i get muslims food ?7) is it possible for us to go to great wall china from ghuangzou? how much it cost?Thank you so much for all the advise and help. hai.. i just want to tell u to be extra careful in GZ. local people is not really friendly and here quite high criminal. be careful and watch out ur personal belongings. as my experience, i have been here for almost 2months, cabs driver ever cheated me, he exchanged me 100rmb which is its fake money. he changed me 200, the trick was that he told u that money is tear, once he returned its alr fake money so he wanted others 100. so be careful, many of friends been cheated by here, even atm also can give us fake money. so i suggest u to pay taxi by small money or exact change. they do that coz they know u r tourist here.
