About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

hi, i am an italian passport holder currently resident in Dubai, UAE. I would like to visit Tibet in early October. I am a solo traveller. I would like to fly from Dubai to Kathmandu, obtain the Tibetan permit, then fly to Lhasa, spend a bit of time in Lhasa and then travel back fro Lhasa to Kathmandu via land. Can you please advice me on the best/more reliable operator based in Kathmandu? There seems to be too many on the internet and i would like to make sure i am contacting the right operator. Could you laso let me know how long my visa for Tibet will be if i obtain it via Nepal? any help would be very much appreciated. Best

Generally speaking, China tourist visa is single entry, valid for 3 months and permits 30 days stay duration in Tibet, but it is not 100%. I advise you to apply for China visa from China Consulate in Dubai, but you can't state that you will visit Tibet on the visa application form when you submit visa application. After you get China L visa from Dubai, then go to Kathmandu to get the Tibet Entry Permit from a local travel agency. I don't know the reliable travel operator in Kathmandu.
