About:Tianjin Travel

Tianjin is indeed a beautiful old and modern city which again by current China standard is expanding-building rapidly; many structures are here today, gone tomorrow. If you enjoy smaller "city atmosphere" you'd enjoy Tianjin. The speed rail to and from Beijin is convenient by subway from Beijin South Train Station, inexpensive at 58 rmb and fast at just under 30 minutes. And by the way, no need to wait in line at the ticket counter as train tickets can be purchased directly from self service dispensers on the 3rd floor of the South station.

Having just arrived into Tianjin, I'd appreciate information on clubs, discos, lounge........Please post. Thank you

There are various modern entertainment centers for your convenience, such as Huana Golf Club (No.1, Huanghai Lu, Tanggu Economic & Technical Development Zone), International Golf Club (Guanzhuang, Dongli District), along with many pubs, cafes and bars. There, you can enjoy discos and lounge.

Unfortunately, we just didn't have the opportunity to hit the golf clubs and I don't mean that funny sport of smacking a stationary little white ball, but we did find a few bar clubs. The absolut worst is CoCo near You Yi Road ( bad service, arrogant bar workers even to their servers), the best are Boiling Point (a Chivas service bar with very friendly staff service) and Si Tong Music Bar in the basement of the Somerset Olympic Tower. Boiling Point caters to younger customers whereas Si Tong are older in the 30+ range. Cosy Bar as listed in this site is non existent other than a hotel/inn. We suppose there are other bars in Tianjin.....at any rate, do enjoy Boiling Point and Si Tong Music.
