About:Shanghai Travel

Do many people in Shanghai speak English? I mean people who work in the Metro ticket shop, waiters, taxi drivers etc?
Also, I will be in Shanghai in November at The Radisson Pudong Century Park Hotel. Where is the nearest Metro station?

Hi,I come from the city. Most of the staffs in public service do speak English. But just slow down and make your questions simple enough for them to follow. What's more ,although most of the taxi drivers do not speak English, you can find the English hot-line which can help your communication.
