Question

I will be staying at the Majestic Plaza Shanghai Hotel when i get to Shanghai in October.  I wish to know how far approximately this hotel is from the Expo centre. Would it be expensive to take a taxi to the Expo from the above hotel?  Would there be another convenient and less expensive form of transport to take me straight to the Expo?  Many thanks.

The taxi fare will be about CNY30-40. You can walk to People's Square to take subway line 8 which can direct take you to Yaohua Lu--the exit-8 of the Expo site.
