About:Hong Kong Octopus Card

I'm travelling with my nephew on September 21, he'll be turning 12 years old on October 9. Can he still avail of the child Octopus card? Thanks :)

I think if his valid identification like passport and visa is registered that he's going to be 12 on October 9, you nephew can still buy the kid octopus.
