If I was a merchant on an expedition in the 5th/6th century What things would I see on the Silk Road.....

Apart from various kinds of silk, there were also pearl etc. In late 6th Century, tea could be found from yunnan on the Silk Road too. Tribes of Central and west Asia became stronger. Precious stones, spicery of those areas could be found too.1
