I want to visit the Great Wall during my mid-autumn holiday. Is it possible or will it be too crowded? How is the weather there recently?

Definitely there will be more tourists during that time. But you can choose some less crowded section, i.e. Mutianyu, Gubeikou, Jinshanling, etc. It rained all day long yesterday and the temp decreased a lot. You may bring long sleeve t-shirt and a thin coat.
