The work permit was already cancelled. Can they also cancel my visa without my signature if employer will goto immigration?

The work permit was already cancelled. Can they also cancel my visa without my signature if employer will goto immigration? Do i have no right because i think it is illegal if the employer is holding employee's passport?

Sure your former employer can cancel your visa and the visa can only allow you to live in China for a certain period. You need to leave when it expires. So, if you want to take another job, you need to leave first and apply for a new visa to enter again.
