Please, help!

I'm arriving in Beijing on 13 Sept. 2010 and trying to pack right now.
Can I pack some shorts for me and my husband I see the weather is in 80 F and is warm, we will be staying for week there and going to Shanghai where weather is warmer.
Is OK with shorts to visit Temples and other historic places?
Thanks, thanks.

I think shorts will do in daytime, but better bring you some thin coat for it would be much cooler in the evening and early morning. Wearing shorts to temples is OK, but remember to wear long sleeves when going to Mosque.
