i m British , teacher in thailand and want to goto china for a month to travel in october i need to leave thailand  30 september 2010 if i apply for visa next week can i get it before 30th september do i have time to do it or it s too late to apply as i work i cant take day off from work can i apply at the weekend for the visa?

Well, in terms of the policy of China embassy in Thailand, a regular processing time of a visa is 4 working days. And, the Embassy may not work at weekend. Suggested you contact with the embassy for details.
