About:Halal Food in Beijing

Salam,
I'm Rasydan and will be attending a conference in Beijing and will be staying at the North Star Continental Grand Hotel near the Beijing International Convention Centre. As we Muslim will be celebrating Eid Mubarak expected on 10 September 2010, I would like to know :
1) Is there any mosque within walking distance from my hotel for me to join the local for Eid Mubarak prayer.
2) is there any local muslim food for my family.
3) How is the celebration for Eid Mubarak especially near my hotel,how can i experience local people celebrate 1 of Syawal in Beijing.

Sorry, there seems no mosque within walking distance from your hotel. There is a Mosque about 3km far away from your hotel which is located at 7, Madian South Village, Haidian District. Maybe you can go there.
There are several muslim restaurants around the mosque mentioned above.
Sorry. I am not muslim people, thus i am not familiar with this. You can ask the local muslim people.
