About:Chinese Crew, Resident and Journalist Visa

I am supposed to shoot a documentary in China for ESPN. Can you please help me with what kind of VISA category should I apply in and the documents required for it. Will a J1/J2 visa apply to me?

You can apply for J2 visa if you just come to China for temporary assignment. Your company need to get the approval from relevant Chinese media authorities, you'd better contact the Press Office of China embassy in New Delhi.
