About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

my name is Ricky.I have a question I have met a lady on line and we wish to get married and she wants to relocate here in australia,but we must first marry in her home town or her parents will not allow her to relocate,what do I need to do to arrange this marriage she mentioned somrthing about a letter saying that I am single but dont understand this can you please help

The affidavit is marital status "single" from a Lawyer, like a declaration;and then you need first get it legalized by the your government (valid for 3 months since the date of legalization) and finally authenticated by the Chinese Embassy or the Chinese Consulate-General (valid for six months from the date of authentication).

Yes, you need to do Marriage Registration in China through her local departments.
The letter refers to a single/non-marital status certificate. First, you need an affidavit of Single Status, signed before a notary public. And then get it certified by the Secretary of the Foreign Office of your location where the document is executed.
At last, it should be certified by the relevant Consulate General.
