About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

i am an american citizen and my wife holds a philippine passport pending her application for citizenship. both of us are residing in california. we will be visiting hongkong sept 13- 17. should my wife be needing a visa? and is it true that filipinos are banned from entering hongkong due to the recent hostage incident? we are little worried. please help. thank you.

Philippines passport holders are exempted from visa to Hong Kong for 14 days. Don't worry too much, there is only a travel warning from Hong kong to Philippines.
