About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

I live in Florida and will be traveling to China w/my husband & daughter. My sister in Canada will also be traveling to China.

If I send our passports (U.S & Jamaican) to her, can my sister in Canada go to the consulate in Toronto and apply for our visas on our behalf?

It is not wise to send your passports to your sister in canada to apply for China visa for you because you don't have Canada residence permit.

you'd better apply for China visa through China consulate in Houston, Florida is under its consular jurisdiction. Your sister applies for it in Toronto, after you get the visa, you can arrange time to arrive China at the same time.
