About:Beijing Travel

I was granted a visa for China in 2004, this was placed in my old passport. I now have a new passport and cannot find the old passport. I am traveling to China in October and need to know if I can apply for another visa without sending you a copy of the first visa.

yes, you can apply for a new visa, but the former Chinese visa on your old passport is helpful when you submit your appliaton this time. If you can not find it, it is OK
