About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Dear sir/madam:
I am a student doing bachelor degree in melbourne, my passport is going to expire soon, can i renew my passport here or do i have to go back to china to renew it?

You can renew your Chinese passport at the Consulate-General of China in Melbourne, you don't need to go back to China to renew it.

Hi, I'd like to know what materials I need to prepare so I could renew my passport and how long it'll take to process. Thanks a lot for any useful info :)

Apart from the completed application form and two recent identical photographs, the only supporting document you need to provide is your current or last passport.

your old passport will be cancelled when a new one is issued.
