Is it best to take the subway? Alos is the subway in the airport terminal? I read that the bus takes a long time to get to the city center because of traffic. What about the high speed train?

There is no high speed train go from the airport to city center, as you are afraid of the traffic, I think Subway is the best choice for you.

Subway Line 2 can bring you from Pudong airport to the city center. Bus 925A can take you from Hongqiao airport to the city center.
